1. Operational Definitions
At LOGAJEC SUPPLY CHAIN LLC, we believe in clarity. When we refer to "Carrier," we're talking about our dedicated fleet and vetted partners tasked with your cargo's safe passage. "Shipper" refers to you, our valued client, responsible for the accuracy of cargo declarations. Have you checked your load data today?
2. Limits of Freight Liability
We don't hide behind fine print. Standard cargo liability is capped at $0.50 per pound unless otherwise negotiated in writing before dispatch. Transit claims must be filed within 9 months of delivery date, as per standard industry clocking. We're committed to fair resolutions, but we won't be held liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from equipment delays or weather-related rerouting.
3. Transit Claims & Procedures
What happens if something goes wrong? Our team handles claims with rigorous attention to detail. All shortages or visible damages must be noted on the Proof of Delivery (POD) at the time of arrival. Retain all packaging for inspection; failing to do so may compromise the validity of your claim.
- Immediate notification of loss required within 48 hours.
- Submission of original bill of lading and commercial invoice.
4. Payment Terms
Invoices are due Net 30 from the date of initial freight dispatch. Late payments incur a 1.5% monthly service charge. Don't let administration slow down your supply chain—we offer streamlined EDI billing for high-volume partners.
